I don't remember her name, partly because it was very unusual, like two names combined, like her parents couldn't decide on one name, so they combined they top two favorites.
Anyways, I was a customer for three years, I went every 10-14 days. This location has really been circling the drain with high turnover and unfriendly service. Even if they offered free haircuts with a free bowl of soup, you still won't find me in that chair again.
Heartland location - never been here, wasn't able to get a hair cut, but just wanted to say, the stylist I spoke to was very nice and maybe when things get in order here this can become my place
Well I guess they give a license to anyone now a days, because I honestly can't wrap my head around how this girl who recently cut my hair was qualified, nonetheless even considered for employment by Great Clips.
I hate looking for the right person to cut my hair. Most of the time I feel like they cut it the way they want to then, it takes months for me to grow out & get right again. I have been to this location many times. Summer was great. She listened to what I wanted and did a great job. I will ask for her next time.
She looked at my notes, I tweaked the instructions by a hair (no pun intended) and asked for the usual high fade and finger-length cut on top. She proceeded with my no-guard to gradual fade and then cut the top with scissors. She took a 1/4 inch off the top and took my cape off and said "Ok all set"...I told her this is what my hair looked like 4 days ago, can we go shorter? Without even buttoning my cape back up, she quickly runs the comb and scissors over my head, then puts her scissors down and says there ya go (Without even blowing the hair off my head/face or offering a towel). I embarrassingly walk to pay for my haircut without making a scene, although I should've warned the next guy in line what he was signing up for. I get home, my lines are all crooked and anyone who wears a high & tight knows how important nice tight lines look. I'm glad I left with enough hair still left on my head so that it can still be salvaged and fixed!
Don't even think about trying to be a walk in customer! They no longer accept walk in traffic, the staff is so lazy that if you haven't checked in on line they tell you an exhaustive wait time so that YOU just leave! This is my third time to try to get my hair cut on my free time with them exact same outcome. I will not try this here again!!!
I'm usually not a complainer, but holy moly... this was bad. Judy gave me an awful hack job (pictures attached) even though I just needed a 1 inch trim. It's a $14 haircut, so I'm not expecting anything life-changing. But, a cut that doesn't look like I DIY'd it while blindfolded would've been nice. Anyways, I returned shortly after finding out how lopsided my hair was. I just wanted to politely ask for a refund and leave, but all I got were some bs excuses. I was told that she cut it so unevenly because I have "thick hair that wasn't completely straight". Are you kidding? Other stylists have been able to cut in a straight line regardless of my hair, but I digress. Dawn (the manager) did nothing to hide her disinterest in resolving the situation. Her attitude was extremely rude and unhelpful. Perhaps there is a good stylist in there somewhere, but after dealing with these two- I won't be sticking around to find out!
